One of the biggest and fastest growing problems today is obesity. Recent government studies indicate that at least sixty percent of adults are either overweight or obese. And that number is expected to only go up. If you are heavily overweight, or would simply like to lose a few pounds, this article is for you.

When you break everything down, there are only two ways to lose weight. Change what and how much you eat, and change what and how much you exercise. The whole billion dollar diet and exercise industry centers around these to things, and how to make them as painless as possible. Here I’ll give you some tips on choosing the right exercise plan that will go with any diet you may choose.

There are two kinds of exercise, those that build muscle, and those that build endurance. Endurance exercises are swimming, running, cycling, and working out on rowing machines. Basically anything that you do consistently for twenty minutes or more. These burn the most fat while you are doing the exercise, but they don’t do a very good job of increasing your resting metabolism.

Muscle building exercises are anything that requires a short bursts of energy that quickly leaves you out of breath. Weightlifting, wind sprints, and running up stairs are examples of this. These have a huge impact on your metabolism. More muscle mass means a higher metabolism, which means you’ll burn fat easier. If you want to lose weight, these are the exercises you want to do.

Most people tend to shy away from these, as they are afraid of getting huge muscles. But if you focus on a large number of repetitions, and a relatively light weight, this won’t happen. The ideal exercises for this are body weight exercises. Push ups, sit ups, any form of yoga that uses your body weight as the resistance is perfect. Jumping rope or running up the stairs is perfect for this, especially if you can only do it for a minute or two.

Of course, many people like to mix in some endurance exercises once in a while. But you don’t have to spend hours on the treadmill every week to get spectacular results. All you need is you, your body, and some floor space, and your good to go. Once you start doing five or ten minutes every day, you’ll be amazed how quickly you’ll see results.

There is a huge health problem that is getting worse every year in western society. This problem itself causes many other problems, some of which are leading causes of death. The problem, of course, is obesity. More than sixty percent of adults today are obese. And we seem to be getting fatter. If you want to lose some weight, either a lot or a little, this article is for you.

Whenever you exercise, you are either building up strength, or endurance, or a mix of both. Endurance exercises are commonly thought to be the best for losing weight. Running, walking, swimming are great while you are doing the actual exercise, but they don’t contribute as much to increases in metabolism that strength training does.

When you do strength training, you will increase your resting metabolism. This means that you will be burning more calories while you are just sitting around. Any exercise that leaves you gasping for air after a couple minutes is a strength building exercise.

Most people are afraid of building huge muscles when they think of doing these kinds of exercises. But the secret is that when you use lighter weights, and shoot for higher repetitions, this won’t happen. The perfect solution is to do body weight exercises. Squats, push ups, running up stairs will greatly increase your lean muscle mass, and burn fat off like butter on hot griddle.

Of course, it helps to mix in a little bit of cardiovascular exercise. But you don’t need to spend hours a week on the bike or the treadmill. Many people are happy to discover that only a few minutes a day of body weight exercises is all you need to get in really good shape, really quickly.

" just lift weights to gain muscle fast without learning efforts " I guess you've actually never tried lifting weights, otherwise you'd never say it's "easy" and that gaining muscles with it is " fast ".

As long as you do exercise then you're all set. In my opinion, try to mix it up. Do cardio and calisthenics on off days as a break and free weights to go beast mode on your body. Maintaining a balance is key.

When I was younger I thought this guy was legit. But now I see he's an idiot. There are WAY better exercises for biceps, even bodyweight. He's just saying exercises he does and is attributing them to his biceps

First of all he did 0 biceps exercises
Second of all the pullup focusing the lats and sure the biceps help a bit but it dosent even count as one of the targeted muscles in the exercise
I dont even need to start talking about how the "one arm pull up" dosent focus the biceps as a targeted muscle, thus being a harder version of the pull up
and third off all your last exercise really hurt the shoulder joint and works on a tricep and but of shoulder (0 beicep tho) which is the opposit of the bicep.
A muscle dosent know how to exstand but only how to flex, every muscle has the oppose to it which responsible for the counter movement, (Lats – Shoulders, Quad – Glutes, and Biceps – Triceps), and those were only examples, but he dosent know what he is talking about, he may be a good athlete in a greate shpae, but all he says is wrong (well, most of it).
